PENTECOST WHIRLWIND
Gift of the one God,
in love unending
to dwell within us,
our lives befriending.
Spirit of Mercy,
Spirit of Justice:
Pentecost turmoil,
move us to love.

Spirit Protector,
the meek defending,
and bringing new Life
oppression ending.
Spirit of Promise,
Spirit of Freedom:
Pentecost tumult,
friend of the poor.

Spirit Companion
ever attending,
building God's people:
Glory extending.
Spirit of Wisdom,
Spirit of Healing:
Pentecost whirlwind,
blow through our world.
